Ok Turku is a bit of an underdog, as especially the lows tend to be higher in Gothenburg.
mean temp: Gothenburg 11.2C, Turku 10.2C precipitation: Gothenburg 54mm, Turku 39mm sunshine: Gothenburg 239 hours, Turku 284 hours
My guess (hope), Turku warmer, drier, sunnier...

Turku will be drier and sunnier, but Gothenburg may unfortunately be warmer

Same predictions as Ariete, the Baltic Sea region doesn't look particularly wet at this moment and Gothenburg gets those maritime low diurnals all the time so should be fairly straightforward.

Forecast not giving a clear edge to either location so far: This forecast gives exactly the same mean for both locations; 13.9C.

Mean temps until afternoon today,
Turdku Artugaynen: 11.7C Goatenburg (((Centre))): 14.1C
Göteborg has a clear lead, but as the months progresses Turku has a better chance to catch up. I think we've too far behind to catch up though.

gothenburg averages 15.9C so far. the highest may mean temperature in gothenburg (and sweden) is 15.8C in 1889. the forecast looks like this so there's a realistic chance that this will be the warmest may recorded in swedish history.

13.5C mean here. Warmest in Turku has been 14.0C (1993). Forecast looks similar to Gothenburg, but of course with lows. Damn Goatenburg UHI: cdweather.boards.net/post/52488

Gothenburg's May would be way above average here and Turku average!

I wouldn't even win if I'd use Artukainen's highs and Rajakari's lows. But I'll win Landvetter!

looks like gothen(((berg))) won that one pretty easily I like how if we'd started a Gothenburg vs Santa Maria or something like that, Santa Maria would've got every vote, and everyone would lose their bet.
