C; pretty decent summers actually and also not a lot of cold rain in other months either. Sunshine is most likely in the 2,500-2,700 hour range judging from Boise's sunshine totals by international standards. It's on a similar latitude albeit farther east.

C/D. The daily means look pretty good but diurnal range is a little too high and precipitation is too low. If it has 2500-2700 sunshine hours it's also too sunny.

If you don't mind me asking, how much of that splendid sunshine is concentrated in winter? If it is in excess of 100 hrs in the cloudiest month, then it will be an A+ by inland standards; the sub-freezing winter highs will be a non-factor should that prove true. Lommaren

Lommaren Take a look at Boise and you'll get the pattern. Winters are quite cloudy and these numbers are of course inflated by 10 % but it's still rather decent; 95 hours or so December and January.

U B. Needs warmer winters and more variable records but otherwise pretty good.
Pocatello, about 52 miles (84 km) away, gets 2900 hours of sunshine. This place is a bit cooler and wetter so 2750-2800 sounds right.

Has decent temperatures, although summer nights are too cold and it's too dry and sunny. Not bad though, B-.

Solid B. A bit sunny and dry for my tastes but the temperatures and low summer humidity are a plus. Idaho is definitely near the top of my travel bucket list.
