This place looks like it's too maritime influenced by cold ocean waters, like coastal California, to get storms. The med coast, inland Spain and the alps around the French border are the key places for storms.

B. Boring but mild and dry. There's a big difference between the summer means and record highs suggesting that they do get some properly hot days at least occasionally. But it's remarkable how much cooler the highs are compared to Lisbon given that it's not that much further north . I guess the sea breeze is stronger there?
