I found this climate, differing significantly from Providence in spite of Rhode Island's small size: D+ bordering on C-; a bit too much cold rain, not too pleasant freezes/re-freezes in winter, but good shoulder seasons and liveable summers.

how are the lows in winter so low? Looks wrong. But those numbers are pretty damn good. I'll give it a solid A rating. Perfect summers.

Record lows for every season look seriously off... especially summer.

Hmm, interesting. Looks like a pretty well-balanced four season climate. Too cool and wet for me though: between a D- and D+ depending on sunshine and storm activity.

how are the lows in winter so low? Looks wrong. Lows look like a much more inland location; it's about the same as Amherst. But once you go 20 or so miles from the ocean, most of the ocean effect is gone. Checked the 1981-2010 normals, January min is 4°F too cold on the wikipedia, summer is about right: wrcc.dri.edu/cgi-bin/cliNORMNCDC2010.pl?ri9423yes, it's actually Woonsocket even though there's no name. Western regional climate center website has been malfunctioning for a while. Came to it from this map: wrcc.dri.edu/summary/ct_ma_riF.html

Winters way too cold although summers are pretty good, so lower end of C-. Very mediocre climate but it could be worse.
EDIT: I checked nei's link. It's a C- as well.
