This inland North Eastern climate is one of the most continental climates Israel has. C for me; summers are a touch too hot and would benefit from some precipitation, but would be entirely manageable of course especially with the low inland humidity, whereas winters are the real issue here with all that cold rain. That being said, without it, it would be a desert, so it's damned either way. Would still need to watch out for wildfires though, since the lush vegetation really dries out during summer. Sunshine is probably in the low 3,000-hour bracket somewhere.

D–, by inland standards. Good high temperatures, but no summer precipitation = Diurnals are also too narrow, and winters not frosty enough.

D-. Dreadful winters and pleasant but boring summers.

D, it's OK and that's it. Thundery wetter summers would make it B.

E
Crappy winters and 3-5 rainless months in the summer? No!
It's liveable though. It's interesting that the temps from June-September are so consistent.

I would guess the Golan Heights to its east shields it from strong easterlies from Iraq and Syria, both of which skyrocket from July onwards. In Safed I guess sun strength plays a critical role in June, whereas seasonal lag from the Mediterranean kicks in at the solstice.

Nice most of the year but it's a shame about the wet SUBARCTIC winters. 😢
