Winnipeg by far. Much better summers, better springs, more variable, drier, sunnier, etc.

Winnipeg. Better summers and, even though winters are colder, they see more sunshine. 9 hours of sunshine in a month is just horrible.

Winnipeg because of those awesome summers. Piteå is too cold in winter to reap any benefit anyway.

Winterpeg for being more continental.

Winnipeg for being sunnier and having better summers, winters are shit in either place anyway so the difference doesn't really matter.

Winnipeg by a very wide margin.
Pitea is horrifically sunless in the winter and way too cold the rest of the year. The slightly warmer winter temperatures are not even remotely worth those colossal trade-offs for me.

Winnipeg is much better overall of course outside of winter, but the difference in winter temps is very noticeable and not 'slight', as Piteå is similar to Mpls or Moscow then, although much darker than the former. Wpg still might be better then as pitea's day lengths and sun totals are quite poor, but a tougher choice as 20's f are significantly nicer than single digits and subzero F.
Think Winnipeg and Gävle are comparable, perhaps Winnipeg is slighlty better but it's definitely worse than Uppsala IMO.

Winnipeg- I would trade its frigid winters for the longer and warmer summers, with more sunshine
