Went onto the Belgian met office's website and dug through the climate stats section in Dutch (went perfectly well due to English/German/Swedish skills) and came out with this for Liège 40 km south of Maastricht and finally managed to give Liège a properly sourced weatherbox with real data; they might as well merge the two stations aside from Liège getting more rain  Would knot prefer this one over Maastricht or not?  |

Aye, Liège is slightly better than Maastricht due to cooler lows, more precipitation days and more frequent snowfall likewise. Quite a decent maritime climate, although summers are still much too warm.
