A low of 4°C in Sydney CBD on Monday, surely it hasn't been that low for a long time?

–11.1° C at Lithgow, NSW (Marrangaroo Defence station; 936 m AMSL; 33° S) this morn'. Blayney, NSW town centre managed –12.8° C however, with Trunkey Creek clocking in at –13.6° C according to the Blayney Shire councils & farmers; they are our #no.1 frost hollows. Tables are turning, methinks!

January 1951 MaximumsJanuary 1951 MinimumsWould not mind a month like this at all. Only three days under 25C, with all days above 21C. All nights are under 20C but not below 10C. Rainfall that month was 32mm, in 8 days. Probably the best summer month that I've found.

Apparently a chance of hail and thunder too, hopefully that eventuates. It's happened twice this winter so it's not out of the question.

BOM says thunder here tomorrow aswell. Yeah, and the sun is gonna shed its layers and turn into a planetary nebula tomorrow.
You might get those cold air cells, they can pack a punch in coastal areas after a strong front goes through with a vigorous southerly following.

I'm not worried about missing out on the cold wind and squalls, we have had more than our fair share of that this winter. Top gusts in the 80s and 90s again today.

Snow has already been forecasted in the Dandenongs, which is quite rare for one week in advance. Looking to be a good one.
Those pockets of -6°C are quite close too, hopefully they move upwards.
