I'm moving to Cyprus sometime next year for work. Not sure if I will enjoy the climate at all. The winters are much nicer there but the rest of the year looks like a severe downgrade to me. D--

D- here as well. Awesome winter but ridiculous summer. So you're going to work inland? I thought the economic activity of Cyprus was mainly in the coastal tourist areas alphatier?

D. Winter is too warm and boring, but looks quite pleasant. Summer is too hot, but at least provides some interest.

One of the worst Csa climates.

B+ Definitely one of the nicer places I've been, although I prefer the coast. Larnaca is fantastic.

A. Another place which has won the climate lottery.
Cyprus is one of those places that kills a bit of my soul.

B+, lovely summers but winters need to be cooler and wetter.

D-
Too hot and sunny. The cool winters save it from a F.

B
Summers need some thunderstorms at those kinds of high temperatures because wall to wall sunshine will make those summers seem epically hot

E, way too warm and dry for me with way too much sunshine, but at least there's seasonality (more than I thought, actually).

Dโ; dry as a bloody bone, no storms, mild winter, too stable in summer, too much sun...just fucken gayshit. The exciting heat and lovely diurnals, as well as some precipitation in winter, are all what save it; without them, this shithole would be straightway blighted.

How is that possible? It might as well be in the middle of the Sahara.

B. The 30 year averages are likely not quite as extreme.

Nicosia is B but Larnaca on the coast with milder winters and milder summers is certainly better.

D. Summer maxes like that and no storms to show for it, just incessant boring sun and heat.

B, again, imagine summer dewpoints are quite high since Cyprus is an island

B, again, imagine summer dewpoints are quite high since Cyprus is an island And no storms to show for it All that pointless oppressive heat and humidity, this climate would be like a nightmare for me to be honest.

A+
Flawless climate. Excellent summers, sunshine hours and comfortable winters. The heat there is dry, unlike the coast.
