Eh, most of you probably figured this out already, I just caught onto the last step; maybe a few of you haven't and you'd like to know. Should work for both phone [in Desktop Mode] and computer, though it's a pain to scroll through a 100 shouts on a phone of course. 1. Leave a tab open of the forum before you leave your machine 2. When you wake the machine back up, click on the refresh button on that tab below the shoutbox [NOT the browser refresh] 3. Then turn off your WiFi [or cellular data or ethernet β whatever you're using for internet] Last step is necessary, as new shouts come in, it'll be almost impossible to scroll through the shoutbox. So leave the internet off while you're scrolling through old shouts and it'll scroll fine. This doesn't forever, you'll get to see like 200 [dunno the exact number] old shouts; I'll often get a big gap between shouts from before I left my computer and the oldest shout that comes up when I refresh. Like, it'll have shouts 12 hours ago then 7 hours ago and then hundreds of shouts after but nothing in between. If you want to make sure never to miss a conversation, you'll need to plan your life around the forum. I'm guessing proboards stops storing more than a certain number of shouts for a forum. So eventually your embarrassing post on the shoutbox will completely disappear for everyone. Hope this is useful to someone here.

Neat trick, I guess that puts an end to all our shoutbox gossiping.

Sounds overly complex, Iβm certainly not gonna spend the effort doing this but seems like a cool trick.

If anyone admits to doing this they're seen as a slimey eavesdropper though, aren't they?
