Inter defeated Juve to get a 4-point lead at the top of Serie A! Very strong team this year Inter in 1st, Juve in 2nd, Milan in 3rd. Then a big gap to 4th. After the banter years of Inter and Milan, the big 3 are dominating again.

Crazy to think that Juve won the league for like a decade in a row, but now it's possible they might go four years straight without a title
I'd love to see something similar happen in the Bundesliga

this is just 10cm away from being the the perfect free kick over a high jumping wall, a world class goal keeper trying to reach it.

Bournemouths upcoming fixture
Sheffield (H) Luton (H) Wolves (A) Everton (H) Crystal Palace (H) Luton (A)
Honestly should be getting 12-14 of the 18 available points in that.

Strewthless BBC looking back at 2009 and the match between Wales and Finland. A very different time in many ways, and in Finland it is mainly remembered as the day when the Finnish fan community started to hate Bellamy.
Euro 2024 play-offs: The day Finland legend Jari Litmanen walked Wales ragged
This was 2009, one of Wales' many periods in the international wilderness; the era of John Toshack's callow young teams getting routinely outplayed at a half-empty Millennium Stadium.
As David Edwards, part of the Wales midfield in those days says, it was "a million miles away" from the golden age of recent years.
Back then, Wales were tumbling down the world rankings - soon to be outside the top 100 - and, just four games into their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign, their chances of securing a place in the competition for the first time since 1958 were already fading.
Toshack handed debuts to the likes of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey during his tenure but, while these stars of the future were taking their first steps at this level, the results were dire.
The Finns had some notable names of their own - Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia and ex-Chelsea striker Mikael Forssell among them - but their most iconic player, the great Litmanen, was entering the twilight years of his illustrious career.
If Wales thought the 38-year-old former Ajax and Barcelona playmaker was simply going through the motions as he eased himself towards retirement, they were mistaken.
"Litmanen was nearly 40 and absolutely ran the show," Edwards says.
"Technically, he was exceptional. I remember going into the game, 23 years old and thinking, 'Well, I can run all over him' but it's hard to run all over someone when they've moved the ball away from you with their first touch because they know you're coming."
"It was a good Finnish performance but it was one we had to battle for because Wales were on their own turf, and they were not going to lie down easily."
Wales' captain, Bellamy, did not see it that way.
"They're not a good side," the then-Manchester City forward said of Finland in his post-match interview with Sky Sports.
"I suppose you've just seen two poor sides trying to contest this group. None of us have a glimmer of hope of qualifying. That's a fact after what I've seen today. Where we go from here, God knows. Same old story, out of a group.
"Johansson scored, I don't know how. I don't think he's a good enough player to score, but we were just poor."
During the return fixture in Helsinki a little over six months later, Bellamy was booed by the home supporters throughout the game.
About Thursday's match betting agencies seem to be of the consensus that Wales would win two times of three. I can't disagree with that assessment.

Nice to see Dan James scoring, heโs been excellent this season for Leeds as a high impact sub. 12 goals and 7 assists. Insane amounts of energy. Our Welsh players will be a big reason for us going up at the first time of asking this season (assuming the table stays as it is).

Tbh I doubted our team beforehand because it was full of Championship players. But I can't say I've really been keeping an eye on their form this season. Definitely surprised me last night. I was expecting a close contest, but instead it turned out to be a very comfortable, routine victory.

Yeah, Finland was really bad, Strewthless . Especially defensive set piece defending was atrocious. Wales OTH impressed me, they really made it look easy. Championship players, meh. Finland had in its starting XI a player from the Greek League, Swedish League and players from the MLS, for example Pukki. I'm not too disappointed, because we deserved nothing from the game. Sack the manager Kanerva, we need new blood. Positive thing is that the squad is fairly young, only Pukki, Hradecky and Schรผller are in their 30s.
edit: Finland plays England, Ireland and Greece in the Nations League, and Pukki told media that he is continuing his international career. He was super excited about the prospect of playing against England. Finland is meeting all the British Isles countries within one calendar year. NI in the Euro qualifications, last night Wales, Scotland in a friendly next June, and England and Ireland in autumn. Last match against England was in 2001 at Anfield. England won 2-1.
