Pukki should have scored a couple. On the subject of Newcastle, the leader of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad bin Salman has been strongly linked with a takeover of the club recently. It says a lot about Mike Ashley's relationship that the fans that they would actually prefer the club to be owned by a ruthless tyrant. Man City and PSG fans clearly don't care where the money comes from, as long as there is money. If Taliban, ISIS, UKIP, or Al Qaeda decided to fund a football team, there would be tons of people watching as long as the team is good

Liverpool put their u-23 squad and manager out in the FA Cup tonight and still progressed. Klopp according to some being "disrespectful", when all he's doing is taking the winter break that he and his team were promised a year ago.
Nobody mentions that Fergie pulled similar stunts on a couple of occasions, he did the same in 2000 FA Cup and once missed the Manchester derby to attend his son's wedding.

A guy who orders murders of journalists and then laughs about it in interviews. Not sure how someone like that passes the league's "fit and proper persons" test.

On a Finnish football site people were asked who they want to fail the most in Euro 2020. With 300+ voters, the top three are currently;
1) Russia 2) Turkey 3) England
Jajajajaja, no sympathy for England here, or maybe they are just gambling on a safe bet jajajaja bro.

Which position maded the Sverige?
13 votes out of 309 currently, compared to Russia with 115.
The hatred towards Sweden in sports has diminished a lot in the last 20 years or so. In the World Cup 2018 similar poll, Sweden was actually the most-rooted country, before England being 2nd and Germany 3rd, the total number of votes was 995. So England has quite a love-hate relationship among football fans.
I won't support Sweden in any team sport, but neither do I specifically want them to lose. Irrational hatred for Sweden in sports is more of a White Trash thing these days.

England were somehow favourites to win Euro 2020, though I'm not sure if that is still the case with Kane and Rashford both injured long term.

France should win the tournament. Germany's big problem is that Löw is just like Merkel - has outstayed his welcome and won't leave even when he should've done years ago. To spend 14 years in charge of Germany with only one tournament win with the players they've had is only okay, it's not excellent, so not sure what they see in him. Italy and England are both meh sides, nothing special. Belgium has probably peaked already with Kompany and Vertonghen getting old.
I'd definitely give shout-outs to the Netherlands though, assuming van Dijk and de Ligt stay healthy. Who's going to score against that? They could fly under the radar and be a nasty surprise for other teams.

Germany consistently made the Semis or the Finals of tournaments. Just rarely managed to actually win
Netherlands have an amazing defense. Just that their attack leaves a lot to be desired

Anyway, Greece won by keeping it clean at the back and that's precisely what van Dijk and de Ligt could make sure to do. Both are also more than able to pop up at a set-piece with a decisive header as well. Then Wijnaldum and de Jong are really good midfielders in that aspect too.

I liked Wijnaldum ever since the 2014 World Cup. Underrated player

I liked Wijnaldum ever since the 2014 World Cup. Underrated player Figured their XI would be:
Cillesen
de Vrij de Ligt van Dijk Blind
F de Jong Wijnaldum
Bergwijn van de Beek Depay
L de Jong
Tat's actually a rather competitive one - assuming everyone stays fit, because there's not much cover to say the least!

The 2020 season in the Finnish league will be the last genuine one. VAR is coming in 2021. Boke.

van Dijk must be intimidating to play against. He's 193cm, very fast, and very strong. Plus he looks like a badass. Looks more like a boxer than a footballer
Playing against Nigel de Jong and Vinnie Jones must've been very scary as well

Hard times If Liverpool keep their defensive line intact, they'd still have a top team even had Klopp and the front three left. They're that good.

Looks more like a boxer than a footballer Playing against Nigel de Jong and Vinnie Jones must've been very scary as well His speed is underrated, he recorded the fastest sprint in the Champion's League last season. I'm also puzzled as to why we don't have him taking free kicks. Then again this was in a pub league:
