Tbh I think continuing the season no matter what should be the priority, even if we have to restart in August. Order fixtures in a way that will gradually allow us to return to a normal schedule. It would be entirely possible to play next season as a 19-round event. That's how they often do in Latin America, an apertura (opening) and a clausura (closing) stage of the season. Would make sense to give the top ten from this season the 10th home game.
With talk about the Euros being played in December, I assume this could open the door to play well into the summer of 2021 as well.

Since there are three teams on 27 points it'd be a mess, but I reckon a two-legged playoff:
West Ham-Watford
Loser plays Bournemouth to avoid relegation.
My ideal method would involve me selecting 3 teams who have the most annoying fans.
Aston Villa, West Ham, Everton (assuming I can't relegate Liverpool).
Throw Arsenal into there, their fans are very annoying online |
