Canada was reminded of the gruelling away games in CONCACAF in Central America and the Caribbean yesterday with a 0-0 draw away to Jamaica. Currently 4th in the table and still on track to qualify for the world cup.

With this goal Teemu Pukki is now the all-time top scorer for Finland with 33 goals, overtaking Jari Litmanen.
And funny that the assist was provided by Urho Nissilä who plays in the extremely mediocre Finnish League.

Our record breaking winning streak came to an end last night, with a 2-1 loss to Japan. It's always fucking Japan.

The end of the international break was good for us. Finland won Kazakhstan 2-0 and is still in the qualifying game. The U21 side won Austria 2-0 as well, and are as well very much in the qualifying game. The U19 and U17 sides are through to the 2nd qualifying phase. The U19 side had it tough with barely winning 1-0 against the Cold African Rock.
Our southern neighbours are in the same U21 group as Finland, and they have had a rough campaign. 5 games, 5 losses, zero goals scored, 17 conceded.

Dicey game with some controversial reffing, but Canada eventually blew Panama out of the water at home in Toronto. 4-1 win!
Still in a good spot to qualify for the world cup.

It is an interesting point. When you have three teams that effectively have infinite money, for how much longer will everyone else be able to realistically compete?

Not for long. And it goes beyond the PL. There isn't a large untapped pool of world-class players to attract. All the top 200-400 players already play in the top teams of the top leagues. Newcastle is entering the same sphere as the existing super-rich clubs like Man City and PSG, and will compete for the same players. Eventually salaries and transfer fees will spike even further, and clubs with finite about of money will be unable to compete for these players. It's already extremely unhealthy as clubs with annual turnovers of a few big supermarkets are paying their employees tens of millions a year.
If nothing is done, some kind of Super League will eventually happen.

Sad to see what's happening with established large clubs like Barcelona who are spending well beyond their means in order to keep up. I reckon some big clubs are in danger of collapsing in the next decade. Liverpool have been lucky with Klopp, in having a manager who's been able to compete at the top without having endless amounts of money. The policy of the the owners is to run the club as a viable business. Which will keep the finances sustainable, but we'll never be able to have a squad with the depth of Man City's. Impressive display. Salah practically recreated his goal against Man City. He scored from here: I only tend to post these if BT Sport do the upload. I think they lack the same region locking that Sky Sports use.

Aye, but you might have to alter your wage structure slightly. HJK currently spend €23,000 a week on wages. Salah is said to be pushing for a €400,000 a week contract

Hmm, that might be a bit too steep. I estimate HJK could offer Salah maybe €6000 a week. It's not that far off...
But your source is a bit off, from my sources HJK spends around €32.700 a week on wages.
