Wales drawn against Austria in World Cup qualifying. If we can win that, we will play a home final, against the winner of Scotland vs Ukraine.

Uh oh, one of Portugal/Italy won't be making it into the World Cup
Wales has the easiest path of the current teams imo. Scotland and Austria are pretty awful

Scotland and Austria are pretty awful Probably the best possible draw we could have had. Although Scotland have improved a lot in the last year. They also have a psychological advantage in that they beat Wales in the play-offs for the 1978 and 1986 World Cups, in controversial circumstances.

Messi is getting excited Russia's draw is somewhat tough. I think all of the teams are around the same skill level, with Czechia a bit better than others

The Leicester game was briefly halted because of the snow. The Man City game also had an extended halftime so the groundsmen could clear up the snow.

#6 on Trending. Probably region locked, but worth watching if you can. An Irishman and a scouser shouting at each other in barely comprehensible accents while Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank awkwardly sits between them

Funny, but pretty stupid debate. But I was able to understand most of it.

7th Balon d'Or for Messi.
1ST - Lionel Messi (613 points)
2nd - Robert Lewandowski (580)
3rd - Jorginho (460)
4th - Karim Benzema (239)
5th - N’Golo Kante (186)
6th- Cristiano Ronaldo (178)
7th - Mohamed Salah (121)
8th - Kevin De Bruyne (73)
9th - Kylian Mbappe (58)
10th - Gianluigi Donnarumma (36)
Winning the Copa tipped it over the edge for Messi. Lewandowski had a brilliant year, but it's very difficult to win the award unless you've won the Champion's League or an International competition.

Jorginho getting 3rd is a bit silly, he's probably the weakest player on that top 10 list. Being the only Italian on Chelsea helped I guess I've seen some people claim that Copa America is a "Farmer's Cup" but at the same time Argentina hasn't won it since 1994, so it means a lot

Messi was the best player in La Liga, and was player of the tournament at the Copa America. So it's hardly a scandal that he won it the award, it was a toss up really. Last year was when Lewandowski was truly robbed.

Stats from England women's 20-0 victory against Latvia this evening. I'm surprised Harry Kane didn't try to get in the team Apparently some of the main players weren't able to obtain permission to take the days off needed from their jobs so they had to stay in Latvia to work instead of playing in the world cup. Imagine being the top football player in your country and getting paid so little that you have to work instead of playing in the world cup.
