Interior climate in Rio Grande do Sul, about 1.5° farther north than Porto Alegre at 28°S. It's rainy year round, summers are relatively flat in terms of being about 27-28°C highs for almost five months. During shoulder seasons, average temps drop fast for a brief period, whereas winters are similarly consistent, being between 18-21°C for five months. The Brazilian weather service uses 24-hour means, hence the disrepancy between the high + low divided in half-quota on general means. My rating is a B. It's a bit too wet, and slightly too warm summer lows in relation to the highs, although it's not a major issue. I'd say worries about UV strength would be significant though, this is a similar latitude to the Canaries after all and at above 600 metres elevation, so it loses the "+" behind the B as a result of that.

What kind of lows would be needed combined with the current precipitation to truly salvage these highs, knot ?

What kind of lows would be needed combined with the current precipitation to truly salvage these highs, knot ? In order to somewhat salvage such boring maximum temperatures in winter, the lows would have to be biting cold (at least around 0° C, preferably below that); if the record lows were the average lows, then that would be much funner.

E/E+. Boring and way too wet but at least temps are decent.

B. Love the temps (record lows are just about tolerated) but the rain is just too much.

B. That precipitation ruins what would otherwise be an excellent climate.

C, too wet. Cut the rainfall in half and I would change it to a B or B-.

Great temps and decent sunshine hours (probably would be 2500-2700 by North American standards). Only downside is that it's far too wet. Will give it a B

E.
No cold or dry seasons and not nearly enough temp variations year round.

B-. Comfortable, but both summer and winter are weak and so are the records. It also loses some points for being that wet!

Warm year-round weather. Decent variability does not make this an F.
