I just can't choose one. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

Easily Vancouver. Both have boring crummers, but at least Vancouver has not horrible winters

Easily Vancouver. Both have boring crummers, but at least Vancouver has not horrible winters If you like winter sun, you'll vote for Edmonton, despite its more northerly location. Vancouver is too cloudy in winter, although it does have its sunny stretches but nothing like Edmonton.

Tough battle, I hate Vancouver's rainy winters but Edmonton is too cold for me. The average of both would be a much better climate than each of them.

If it was like 6C vs 2C then it would be closer

Edmonton easily. More winter excitement.

Tough choice, but I'll narrowly go with Edmonton, for being significantly sunnier and having warmer summers.

Vancouver, although in July and August I would prefer Edmonton.

Vancouver, eh? It's warmer literally every month of the year, with much more precipitation for the year to boot.

Vancouver by far. Edmonton winters are brutal and doesn't have much of a summer to make up for it.

Easily Edmonton despite the winters being far too cold. Vancouver is just awful.

Edmonton. It's too cold but the location this climate box is from, if accurate, is actually decent. The airport is quite a bit colder IIRC. Vancouver suffers from the well known 6-month-long-autumn syndrom, rampant among oceanic locales.

Edmongo has non-adequate summers to outweigh such a long and cold winter though Vancouver is just slightly better.

Vancouver for not being extremely cold. Pretty sad because Edmonton has adequate sunshine hours.

Vancouver for me. Edmonton's winters have not too bad avgs for me (altho I still prefer Vcr winters overall other than the sunshine), not so different from here, just longer, although I would stay indoors during the brutal cold waves they get. Subarctic drivel like this in September is atrocious and totally unacceptable for me though www.infoclimat.fr/climatologie-mensuelle/71123/septembre/2018/edmonton-international-alta.html , have zero tolerance for places that cannot retain mildness into mid-September.
