C- Boring winters. Summer is a failure (lat. 37.8 ffs). Light rain/drizzle seems to be the norm (boring). Summer record highs save it from being a D. My sentiments exactly. Those crummer averages are shit for its latitude, though there's the odd interesting heatwave or two.

D at best.... never been a fan of Melbourne's climate, or the climate of any part of Victoria south of the Great Dividing Ranges.

You'd have to be at around 50*N in the NH to get crummers as cold as southern Victoria. Hell, even the islands around Finland and Sweden have warmer average lows ๐คฃ

Melbourne is a solid B. Like any other temperate Australian cities, the northerlies from the desert interior during the summer ruins a lot.

Even the most maritime station on the Finnish mainland, Hanko Tulliniemi, has warmer lows in the latter two crummer months; 15.4C and 15.3C. June isn't that far away either with 11.5C.

Pretty decent temperatures, summers are somewhat dry which is nice, but winter/spring leave a lot to be desired rainfall-wise. B+

B, for me it's kind of a crappy version of the Bay Area's climate. It has similar average temperatures, but less sunshine, drizzly winters and bipolar summers
