Yes my preferences have clearly changed. I was a flat out, 100% total heat-wanker just 10 years ago (some newer members here may not have known that). I would have wanked over 25°C lows and 35°C highs every day.
But as I've got older my body's changed and it just doesn't like warmth or heat nearly as much. I now sweat very easily whereas 10 years ago I never did, even in heat. I HATE sweating. I get other weird issues in warm weather like nerve aches. It also takes my energy away like nothing else. This despite being actually very fit (I exercise loads now and am in top condition, 10 years ago I did no exercise at all). On the other hand, my cool tolerance has somehow improved. I have no issue with indoor temps of 15°C for example. I can sleep comfortably in rooms down to 8°C or so. So really it's more due to my body changing.

Mine have clearly changed quite a bit since middle school: 2004 2023

Simple change: Since 2021, my dream climate has become cooler, sunnier and more variable; with far more downpours, partly cloudy weather and t-storms and less drizzle + overcast weather. Still warmer than my current locale! Here some weatherboxes 2021: Early 2022: Late 2022: Early 2023: Late 2023: As of now, Feb 2024:

Basically turning into a woodlouse. My current weather preferences are clearly as follows: Temperature: 5-15°C. Conditions: Cloudy, overcast being preferable, so as not to trigger a migraine. Weather loves: Drizzle all day preferably, so refreshing. New appreciations: Snow, as it's so fun for many activities and for walking in, of course. Weather hates: Thunderstorms in particular, I have developed a morbid fear of thunder and lightning. Hate heat and sweating, and hate the sun. May not be entirely accurate

Largely the same since I was a kid in 2014/15, I've been a heat wanker for the most part though the past couple years I've shifted towards preferring humid heat

OK, now for an accurate walk-through of my dream climates since 2008, when I created my first, so it can be seen how my preferences have changed. The first iteration of my dream climate "Bolton Ford", from 2008-2009. The second iteration of my dream climate "Bolton Ford", around 2009-2010. From 2010, I created the map of New Florida continent, and a city called "Coltingbury" became my new dream climate. The first version was this: However, around 2012 or 2013 I revised the averages, to make it more realistic for its location on the planet and for its latitude. This climate was the one I had as Dream Climate in my "heat wanker" phase. Then in about 2019 I made the climate of Megalatopolis. Summers got cooler but winters very mild. Then I didn't have any proper established dream climate til late 2021 when I started doing real-time creation of Oceanicville, my current one. The summers are now comfortable and the winters mild but a bit cooler and wetter with thunderstorms. Despite its oceanic climate, thunderstorms happen frequently all year.

I've always been a heat wanker since I was small - even at five I was excited for 90+ degree days. However, my 2013 dream climate was based on Orlando, which has a milder winter.
In 2017-21, I was obsessed with all things Scottish and Irish, and this affected my climatic preferences. I thought crummery oceanic climates were good, as well as hot and humid climates. Now I look back on that period and cringe - I can't believe I liked places such as Dublin, Glasgow, and Seattle.
Now, I'm solidly a tropical wanker, and think that places like Miami, Bangkok, Singapore, and Manaus are the best climates. But one thing hasn't changed - my massive hatred of snow and freezing temperatures.

For most of my life, I preferred a temperate Mediterranean climate, reminiscent of the one I know and love. I also loved heavy rain in winter. In the past winter, during a historically rainy wet season in Southern California, I have come to dislike rain.
Over the past few years, I have also gained more appreciation for heat compared to before.

I remember when I was a kid (5-8) I mostly liked the moderate temps and partly cloudy conditions, like what we have in autumn and spring here. I was ok with some cold, but not too cold. Same thing with the heat. When I was about 11 I developed a bit more of a liking for heat. I also started to like drier summers, mostly because when it'd rain it'd get sticky (humid) outside and my body would get itchy for some reason. I also liked having snowy winters. Rain was kinda a nuisance. In my teens I started to like the heat even more, and my appreciation for sunny weather has increased. Thunderstorms were kinda scary. At 16-17 I became a full blown heat wanker, wanting the summers to be very hot and sunny. Started to like the Med pattern. Didn't care much about the other seasons (well, that was the case during most of my life). Though I liked cold and snowy winters with some mild periods. The last changes in my weather preferences were when I was 19 - wanting more sunny weather in all seasons, starting to care a bit more about shoulder seasons, and starting to like T-storms and some rain. And after that, at 21 - started to appreciate the humid heat and equally distributed precipitation pattern. After that, my weather preferences haven't changed much, if at all.

I've enjoyed cold and snow less and warmth/heat more since I was a kid, but after I turned 16, my weather preferences have been relatively stable.
When I moved to SLO, 2020-21 and 2021-22 were rather dry winters (12" and 16" respectively). I didn't mind it so much since I was quite tired of the persistent cloud and rain in Seattle and just appreciated the warmer climate. But I didn't like the dry vegetation or the monotonously dry and sunny summers, and by 2022-23, I was ready for the wet winter (49"). The winter of 2023-24 (26") felt just right. If only that could happen in summer as well...
Recently, I've started to appreciate cooler weather and the four seasons. Not that my preferences massively changed, but I'll take Chicago over Miami for instance, while it used to be the reverse. I'm also more tolerant of temperatures that are not ideal and care more about other factors like precipitation, precipitation pattern, sunshine, and wind now.
You always want what you don't have I guess, so my dream climate gets a variety of weather, except for persistent cold and snow, which I don't find to be worth it.

My fundamental preferences (Mediterranean precipitation pattern, ocean-moderated temps, seasonality) haven't changed but I do prefer warmer temps and less precipitation in all months now. I've started to like hotter summers in particular, after visiting places like Portland and Wenatchee. I like when we get heatwaves.

No question about it, I'm fast becoming a Crummer Lover. Which is think is sorely needed on this forum, seeing as everyone seems to wank over 10909000 degrees with 1000000% humidity. I can see my future dream climate having summer avg. highs of 17 degrees with an all time record of 21 if things keep going this way!
But then again, it could change again in the following years.

My climate preferences have always remained pretty much the same, although there have been some small changes over time, I prefer drier heat over more humid heat with sultry nights.
Sunshine hours ~ 3,000 hours July max/min - 32C/21C October max/min - 26C/18C January max/min - 20C/12C April max/min - 26C/16C
Rainfall about 800mm mostly in the non summer months. Sea temperature around 25C in the warmest months and 20C in the cooler months.
Most similar climate is probably Perth.

I got less cold tolerant. I wasn't very tolerant to cold to begin with, and my tolerance decreased even more. Living at low elevations certainly affected my body.
I don't know how I used to live at high altitudes comfortably, may be the strong tropical sun helped.

On the other hand, my cold tolerance has skyrocketed. I still don't like below freezing temperatures, however 10-15°C is my ideal temp these days.

I really don't know why I thought I'd enjoy 35°C shit when I lived in a near-subarctic climate like Buxton... but then my physiology was quite different back in that time. I am much fitter now ironically, but sweat a lot more easily due to being bigger and muscular unlike being a twig in my 20's. Can't believe this was my dream climate:
