There are some C climates on higher ground I'm sure but the Honolulu lowland area is unliveable with white skin. At least on higher ground it's cooler, say in Schofield Barracks. E.

A-
My only complaint is the dryness. Iβd like to see more rain (thunderstorms especially) with temps that warm.

E.
Far, far too boring year round with no temp seasonality at all. Only thing keeping it from an F is the plentiful sunshine.

Oppressive ?....jeez mate, the place is as dry as a witches tit ! has is a very equable and pleasant tropical climate. A real A-/B+ climate at the bare minimum....

greysrigging Just because it's not oppressive to you doesn't mean it isn't for me. I hate those temperatures at night in particular and an avg. max of 22 is perfect for summer personally. Hard to believe people have different preferences on a weather forum isn't it?

Hard to believe people have different preferences on a weather forum isn't it? Fair enough, point taken.... mind you, I feel the word 'oppressive' might be a slight exaggeration re Honolulu. Now if we were discussing Bankok, Jakarta, Singapore or Ho Chi Minh I would agree...lol

Not bad for a tropical climate. I need some seasonality.
