C. I don't mind it too much usually, but I don't really like it when the cool weather drags into December, such as last year. Also not a fan of what happened in 2005, when April had a higher average max than February - the seasons were too out of whack that year.

I give it a C, and our climate has a fair amount of summer lag (January = February) and little winter lag (June is colder than August). I like when summers extend into March, such as last year (although many complain); as our sunshine is higher during warmer weather. At least showers would keep things fresh and green; and there is decent temperature drop through autumn.
Meanwhile, seasonal lag in winter brings along cool, sunny weather, which I don't mind. However, I dislike the slow spring warmup that we have, with the potential of cool, rainy weather creeping in into December.

Spring seasonal lag with wintry slop dragging on can get fucked, despise that like hell, but it's also great when warmth carries on into fall, so that evens out to a C for me.

I have mixed feelings. For a hot climate like here, it's good that March and April don't heat up quickly.
At the same heat severe heat lingering into October can feel really bad.

B-
Summer spilling into autumn is great (longer summers). Winter spilling into spring is not that good. For March it's alright, to an extent, but if it persists into April or even May then it's shit.

C. Don't care unless if it's extreme, like say SLO where September/October often gets the strongest heat waves, in which case it's a negative, though still a small one.
I think I would want spring, with longer days and the return of life, to be slightly longer or at least equal in length to fall, which is true for most climates except ones with July/August monsoons.

Lag in fall is great, lag in early spring sucks. So I guess a C
