A-
Lack of thunderstorms is annoying but they come in autumn. I like reliably sunny weather with warm temperatures.

C+
I like the excessive sunshine, summer drought and sense of warmth they provide. That said, their winter rain can be over the top at some places.

I get nosebleeds more often in the winter when the air is so dry, and I don't like extreme summer humidity. A Med pattern is basically the perfect fit for me. I don't like the extreme Med climates like Los Angeles or Jerusalem where rainfall is basically zero all summer, though; I'd like at least an inch a month minimum, so I voted for a B.

Mediterranean precipitation pattern is terrible thing in climates and brings grades down. For example, current Seattle is C climate. The one with even precipitation will get A. Barcelona is D+ climate. The one with even precipitation will get B-.

A Mediterranean precipitation pattern is preferable in cold climates, but not in warmer ones.

B
I like relatively evenly distributed rainfall with a summer drying trend, but not to the extent of most Med climates. That being said, they're still much better than monsoonal climates.

A+++
fair weather: Warm to hot summers with little rain or clouds to ruin your time outdoors. Cool rainy winters bring a nice change of scenery, and replenish the earth.
fair food: "Mediterranean trinity" of grapes, wheat, and olives. Not to mention figs and citrus. California grows something like 90% of America's fruits and vegetables.
fair scenery: Okay, this is personal preference, but yes.

F, disastrous. Lots of cold rain and shitty, stormless summers.

To update my answer, I'll still give it an A if the following conditions are met: 1. Precipitation peak errs towards being in spring rather than in late fall. Late fall/early winter is the worst fucken possible time for precipitation to peak, especially if there's a deluge of shitty ass cold rain. 2. Summers aren't completely dry, with at least a few thunder days. Otherwise, I'd give it a B/C
