A town well known for it's cheese, bega also has surfing beaches and nice surrounding countryside. Climate wise it's a fairly decent climate with summer storms and pleasant enough weather from october to april. Even though it is near the coast Bega has large diurnals in winter yet still decent falls in early winter. It is also capable of serious summer and spring heat but has a cooling seabreeze in summer. B- for me, pretty decent enough warm season but winters are a bit too cold and it is a bit too wet for me in summer.

D. Summers not good enough, particularly the lows. Actually lows year round too cold. Reasonable amount of rainy days for the rainfall.

C+, bit too uniform in the temperatures and rainfall is also too uniform. However low rain days and high rainfall save it. And yes, A+++++++ cheese

A bit too bland, summers are too cool and winters are far too mild, it's also too dry and presumably too sunny. The OK amount of rainfall and frosty winter nights save it from a worse grade. I'd give it an E+.

Better than Sydney CBD. Drier and probably even sunnier, which is odd considering its latitude.

B-, I don't mind the South Coastal NSW climates....a legacy of many trips to the sea as kid on school holidays.

Cโ
Good summers, though springs and winters are too dry and autumns too wet. Winter maxima much too warm, and obviously characterised by gay foehn winds.

C- which is a pretty high score for the region especially with such warm winters.
It is surprisingly (to me) wet overall.
Also Bega has some hella good cheese. Fark!

B-. Pretty good temperate climate. My main gripe is the cool summer lows but I'm sure they get a few hot nights as well. The prospect of some decent storms and I'm guessing 2500+ sunshine hours sweetens the deal.

Frosts seem abundant from the looks of the temps, and I checked the upcoming weather forecast and the nights range from -1C to 1C all this week, sheesh! Not good for some plants. C-. It's not that bad. Seems sunny and summers are probably dry and pleasant.

B+, liking the summer nights and warmer to hot days; but the nights year-round should be a few degrees warmer. The precipitation, while lower than ideal, is not unreasonable; and winter sunshine should be fairly ample. Like most South Coast NSW climates, I also deduct points for the somewhat less sunny (~55% possible sunshine) summers, leading to some crummer summer days every now and then
