You know, of all the different kinds of weather we can get, wind has to be the very worst. I can deal with the heat, cold, heavy rain, drizzle, cloudy, sunny, humid, dry, whatever. But not wind. Fuck me it was windy, and not like windy with gusts, just a sustained gale. Super unpleasant.

My birthday is on the 6th, and it could be a hot one if this setup holds.

I believe Queensland gets plenty of bushfires, but they rarely affect people like they are doing at the moment. By the way, how's the flooding situation lab276

We got plenty of rain, though, with two distinct periods of very heavy, pissing down rain. But otherwise we were OK. It honestly didn't feel different from any number of heavy rain days through the years. Melbourne weather not looking so great, 10C lows going into summer

Melbourne's forecast is a fucking piece of Scottish highlands subpolar Umea crummer shit, and well SAME BULLSHIT HERE JUST TRANSLATED A COUPLE DEGREES UP. Below average boring ass WANK Only hope is Saturday, the rest of it is JUMP OFF A FUCKING BRIDGE IN TASMANIA material On a proper summer related note.... Cairns made a trifecta, 3rd day in a row that not only exceeded 40C, but matched or exceeded the all time record. Today's 40C was accompanied by 20C+ dewpoints. The racecourse was hotter yet with 41.8C. The airport is right on the waterfront, the racecourse is a tad more inland more or less in the middle of the metro area, and there's suburbs stretching further inland yet to the south. So for Cairns racecourse: Sun: 36.6C Mon: 43.6C Tue: 43.6C Wed: 41.8C As for Proserpine, fuck me.
