Aye.
Arica has my vote, what about yours? Two of the most extreme climates on earth. Obviously neither would be rated high individually on here. I would estimate Orcadas' snowfall could range from 400-450 cm per year.

Arica. Boring as fuck but Orcadas is just disgusting. It’s a D- vs. an F-.

They're both absolute garbage, but I'd have to give the edge to Orcada's Base, not by much. It's an F- vs. an F+.

The non-asskissing one is better.

The non-asskissing one is better. Pretty sure Alex, AW, and myself arent asskissing lol. Arica is shit. Sure it's sunny and not that hot but it never rains. Temps are quite boring too.

Arica for sure. Not a fan of either climate at all but at least Arica has comfortable temperatures and appropriate sunshine - I could actually live comfortably in that climate even if it is totally uninteresting. Orcadas Base's 483 hours of sunshine per year is grotesque, as is 18+ precipitation days for 11 months of the year - it's like a year-round Vancouver winter on steroids with perpetually frigid temperatures and no summer of any kind. No thanks!

Arica by far. Orcadas is firmly in the running for the title of worst climate in the world, and not just in the subjective figure of speech kind of way, but ACTUALLY the worst climate in the world.

Arica doesn't look too bad. Orcadas looks like a fictional climate. Truly hellish, but it's scenery would be a great album cover.

I choose Arica, no contest. Orcadas Base is hell on earth. The sunshine stats are truly horrific! Heck, I'd choose Vostok Station over Orcadas Base. It's a C vs a Z climate.

Both are F grade climates. I'll go with Arica since at least I'll be comfortable.

Definitely not. At last in Orcadas you can be outside in normal clothing and you get weather. Vostok is like another planet The sunniest (700 hours) month in Vostok when temps are at their least severe is probably the only time Vostok could be comparable for Orcadas's winters in terms of real-feel outside, otherwise they're like comparing Riyadh and Eureka. They're both having winters within a "subtropical range" but that's the only commonality.

At last in Orcadas you can be outside in normal clothing and you get weather. Vostok is like another planet Vostok Station is semi-tolerable in "summer" (polar day), since it at least has sunshine and I would be able to go outside for a few minutes, but I would lose the will to live and become suicidal in a climate like Orcadas Base after a few weeks from lack of sunshine.
