I've switched my votes to September, October (maybe also the latter half of August), but as Speagles said earlier, boring != least favorite for me as well for this climate.
This is where thunderstorm quality diminishes (hurricanes aside), and are more boring showers, interesting heat waves are less common and before cold fronts become significant enough to be interesting.

Yeah think Sept is the most boring month here but also my favorite month in terms of weather conditions, it's pleasantly mildly warm and there isn't a scope for cold waves and usually not heat waves either (although they are possible), and the severe weather season has mostly past while there isn't any chance for snow either.

The three months weather-wise in Sydney [at least in my opinion] are: February, August and October. February is uninteresting because it is usually warm, rainy and humid from start to finish, without the cool nights to break up the uninteresting weather in March, or the occasional heatwaves in January. August is unexciting because it is usually cool and dry with my skin cracking from start to finish, without the amount of rain to break up the unexciting weather in July, or the gradual warming in September. October, despite being a spring month in Sydney, is monotonous because the temperatures are pleasant, and it is sunny, but it doesn't have the cold waves in September nor the heatwaves in November.

I would say the three most boring months here are: May, June and July. During these months, the temperature is quite stable and there's a lack of interesting events, such as storms. May and June are the most boring, followed by July. August is usually the most dynamic winter month, with stronger cold fronts and more warm spells.

December, January, February. Absolute snoozefest except the 3 days a month where thereβs either a big temp change, heavy snow, or extreme cold. The rest of these months are filled with non weather.

November, December, March November, December - short days March - ugly snow melt time, temps near freezing Now I would say Mid-Oct to Mid-Dec, and April. Would have difficulty choosing between Oct and Dec now, as it really varies by year.

Changed my votes (again) to Septictember, Cocktober and Povember (the last one being the absolute most boring).
Those three months are sort of a no man's land, where interesting summer heat potential is gone, but this is also before cold snaps get strong enough to be interesting come winter. Not to mention the snoozefest of northeasterly winds which bring onshore flow with small diurnals and unexciting temps is the most frequent that time of year.
Though as mentioned in an older post of mine, the most boring weather months aren't necessarily the most unpleasant (e.g. January for instance, is a bit more interesting from a weather perspective than those three aforementioned fall months, but also the most uncomfortably cold month of the year).

July and August for sure; yeah those are the two most comfortable months but it does get old when every damn day is 82/60 F (28/17 C) and mostly sunny on an infinite loop. Yeah we can get good storms, but those aren't a guarantee, and interesting warmth is a lot more common May-July than in August so I think the latter takes #1 most boring for me. (2023 was an exception, we actually did have an interesting hot couple of days in late August.)
I also picked March, little interest in temps near freezing and gray sloppy yuckiness. January is our most interesting month IMO, with big temperature swings and the chance for extreme cold and big snowstorms, but it's still the month with the worst weather by my standards too.

Now that Iβm back in Miami itβs June, July, August. Of course every month May-October inclusive is about as boring and dull as it gets but those three are the worst offenders. Late summer/early fall can get hurricanes (and October features the first cool air of the season generally), and May can also manage cold fronts during the first half of the month. JJA have nothing going on. 88/78 loop with random popup storms every day that may or may not hit you.

In this order: 1. November - grey nothingness. Usually cloudy and wet, frequently foggy with quite damp air and soil. Too cloudy in my opinion, with some cooler periods that can result in a snowfall, but nonetheless snowfall is not really common in this month. 2. December - statistically the cloudiest and darkest month here. Still, it's better than November because of the better snow chances and more serious cold, although we have been getting these lame ones lately with small amounts of snowfall/snowy days and with way above average temps. What you get these days is either spring-like temps that don't suit this month at all or you get 4 C with rain 3. January - not too far off from Dec, although more snow and more cold potential. Same problem that December has - too warm with rain instead of snow, although January can often get some high-pressure systems over Europe so at least you can get a decently sunny month.
Winter is a big disappointment here.

IMO, boring β bad, as I am fine with 'boring' weather for a while (although it gets tiring after a week). In this order, from least to most boring: 3.February - When the novelty of summer is gone, and you are wishing for autumn. Although the temperatures are relatively pleasant (although warm); the higher humidity (a little muggy) and shorter days makes this month a slog-fest. Also, school has started Down Under 2.June - The darkest, coolest month of the year. Despite the many mild, sunny days under the pale sun this month; the month has the longest nights in the year, requiring thicker clothing (not just thongs and shorts to operate a barbie)
1.April - My second favorite month of the year, after October. Admittedly, the month is very pleasant from start to finish: moderate rainfall and sunshine. However, there is little variation (not many coldwaves or heatwaves)
Yes, July-December is more interesting than January-June, as heatwaves and coldwaves are more frequent.

November, December and January - easily.
Snow isnβt common. Thunderstorms are nonexistent. Heat is no longer possible (or even just pleasantly warm, settled weather). Most days are just grey with occasional light rain or drizzle. Itβs really just the occasional windstorm that brings interest.
By February, the days are rapidly lengthening and the first proper spring-like weather typically appears. 16C and sunny is more than possible in February - not so much in December or January, where such mild weather is likely to be accompanied by cloud and rain.
October can be pretty boring too, but itβs the last month where we can get hot weather.

1- January Just endless days of scorching heat with a short thunderstorm in the afternoon occasionally broken by two days of rainless overcast weather with slightly less hot temperatures.
2- February Same as January but with more slightly less hot days.
3- November Half of the days are depressing rainless overcast and the other half are scorching heat.

May, June, July
Stable lukewarm temperatures with not many heat waves or much rain. Sometimes a marine layer in the morning but otherwise almost always sunny.

The Midwest has such a volatile climate that "boring" doesn't really describe many months here, lol
September is the most boring month. Generally mild to warm with much less humidity than JJA.
Some Novembers are pretty boring, cloudy and 40s day after day And as much as I love it, July is a pretty boring month, warm, humid, and relatively stable.

Coming back to this and now it's November, one of my three most boring months of the year, I'd also say these months seem to go really slowly. June-August feels like it goes by in a flash, but November seems like the length of the entire summer season. Such a revolting, dark, cold, damp boring month.
