Needles...
It's better because it has a winter (relatively) and the summer lows aren't atrociously high (relatively).

Needles, CA FUCKEN!The climate box for Sirri Island is just too bloody range coloured. Both have drought, so this is perhaps amongst the easiest choices of my fucken life!

Both climates are really good, but Sirri Island has even less chance of snow.

Both suck a dick but Needles would "win" due to slightly more seasonal variation.

Needles for the lower dew points in summer. While the other one has better winters, oppressive dew points combined with average lows above 30ยฐC just aren't for me.

Hard choice.. I choose Needles. Those summer lows in Iran are a bit too high lol. Would be epic if both of these places got thunderstorms

Sirri looks horrible in summer. At least Needles is tolerable in the morning all year.

I used this site [ IEM Plotter] to make graphs of the temperature, dew point, and heat index for 2018. Sirri Island is much more oppressive in summer based on heat index.
The heat index peaked at about 120F/49C in Needles. Sirri Island reached that almost every day in summer, and August had a few days that didn't drop below 120F/49C at night.
I've never felt weather like either place but Sirri Island is probably worse in summer. I don't think Death Valley or any other hot and dry place could compete since they aren't as bad at night.

Did you guys notice the humidity for Siri? 26ยฐC to 27ยฐC dewpoints in summer, coupled with those temps is 45ยฐC to 50ยฐC Heat Index's on average. For that I choose Needles, where the average summer Heat Index is in the 40ยฐC to 45ยฐC range

Sirri Island is located in the Persian Gulf, dewpoints of 30C are routine.

Both of these climates are absolute garbage, but Sirri Island is like HOLY FUCK bad. So I choose Needles.
Sirri Island is like South FL on human growth hormone.

Needles. More seasonality and since both are plenty hot without much rain, for more interesting records/dry heat and larger diurnals.

Begrudgingly Needles. But my gardening side clicked on Siri for the year round warm weather.
