The Last Duel
Interesting story focusing on perspective and "truths"; excellent acting, direction and cinematography.

No Time To Die
8/10
Really good conclusion of the Craig Bond era, excellent action, direction and some very exhillirating scenes. The villain was quite weak but asides from that I didnt have too mamy problems.
Out of the 5 bond movies id rank them
Casino Royale
No Time to Die
Skyfall
Quantum of Solace
Spectre

Die Hard.
I don't care what anyone says, this is not a Christmas film.

Spider-Man: No way home
6.5/10. It was fine and picked up toward the end but quite disappointing and the weakest of the new Spiderman movies. Nothing impactful, the death scene felt very “been there done that”, the villains were boring and very undeveloped. Probably would’ve helped if I’d seen the 2 original spiderman trilogies.
Free guy:
8.5/10. Very good movie, it was funny, entertaining and had engaging, likable characters. Neat premise too.

The Platform (or El Hoyo, meaning "The Hole," in the original Spanish). I watched it for a class. It was an interesting premise and very well-executed, but it was also predictable and not remotely subtle (though I guess subtlety probably wasn't the point).

This Aussie film won the leading man the 'Best Actor' award at the Cannes Film Festival recently. Older Aussies find the movie somewhat uncomfortably disturbing as it deals with the life of Martin Bryant, the perpetrator of Australia's worst mass shooting at Port Arthur, Tasmania in 1996. ( 35 people killed, 23 injured ). The guy playing Martin Bryant is psycho scary in an understated way which makes it all the more chilling. The movie ends with Bryant removing his AR-15 from the carry bag inside the Broard Arrow Cafe..... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitramwww.imdb.com/title/tt13694628/

Catch Me if You Can
Decent movie, though had tons of historical inaccuracies apparently.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) There Will Be Blood (2007) Maniac (1980) Carnage (2011)
All of them were good, especially There Will Be Blood.

The Batman (2021): pretty solid, more of a character piece than the regular Batman movie, not a spoiler but the camera kinda "sits on his shoulder", just follows his movements over a short period of time. Shows an important step in Batman's personality and his purpose/identity. I wont say much else honestly, i recommend it. 8/10
C'mon C'mon (2021): a story about family, connection across generations and distance; a really touching portrayal of contrasting emotions and family dynamics. Its both amusing and heartfelt, switching between these two emotions with ease. High recommend 9/1

Just watched a Danish movie called 'The Bombardment'. Tells the story of a British air raid on Gestapo headquarters in Copenhagen in Feb 1945, that ultimately was botched and the main targeted building was a nearby convent school for young girls.... It is a graphically harrowing tale, given the subject matter, and I can honestly say I don't often tear up during a movie........
