The Florida Project.
Excellent film with some real genuine White Trash action. Felt sorry for the kids though. Worth an A, one of the best I've watched recently.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Irony_of_FateI liked it, never watched a Soviet film before so didn't know what to expect. There are so many classic films I've been meaning to watch for years but never have done, so my resolution for 2020 is to get through as many as I can.

I watched Free Solo last night, a documentary about a guy who climbed up El Capitan in Yosemite without a rope.
I can really understand how impressive his climbing is when I go to the rock gym and have trouble doing intermediate level climbs with large handholds and a belayer.

Parasite - 4.5/5. A bit overrated, felt like a movie an English teacher would love to discuss. Still pretty good

I watched 'A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood' today, possibly one of the most boring films I have ever seen.

Parasite, an excellent movie by a great director who also did one of my favourites; Okja.

Really liked Okja so probably should check parasite out.

Imo Snowpiercer from the director is better than either Okja or Parasite

Saw Parasite. Hadn't heard anything about it other than my friends telling me it was the greatest of the year easily. It was really good.

Just saw 1917 and it was fucking great. The cinematography is amazing and the acting is top notch. First film in a long time where I didn't want it to end when it did. 9/10.

Recently watched:
Molly's Game, USA 2017 Liked it a lot despite a bit tacky beginning. 4/5
Dogman, Italy 2018 A lot of critical appraise, but the main character was unsympathetic as fuk. 3/5

Recently watched:
Midway, USA 2019 Complete and utter BS. As a fan of aerial warfare in WWII it was even more terrible. Typical Murican explosion shit. 1.5/5
In Bruges, UK 2008 Haven't watched it before, but it has some kind of cult status in Finland. Liked it, but not as much as I'd wanted. 3.5/5

Knives Out. Excellent movie. Indeed it is, I liked it a lot. Every character had a distinct personality, which also pretty rare for Hollqywood

Oldboy (9/10) - Great movie. Very confusing at first, but the second half is much more understandable. Love the twist at the end, you never see it coming. One of the best plot twists I’ve seen, along with Memento and The Sixth Sense. Great for a mind blow
