This might be interesting.
My vote's for Reno because of the higher sunshine, and the low summer humidity. The number of snowy days for Volgograd looks like a joke though, be aware. Anyway, Volgograd is one of Russia's best climates and for me it's quite close between them. I just wish March, April and May were much better than this, especially being inland. C+ vs C.

Volgograd, FUCKEN!Volgograd has fucken gay winters...too long, and too frigid Summers and precipitation are much better, however. Reno's lower latitde is much better, unfortunately.

Volgograd isn’t bad but Reno is an easy winner for the warmth, especially in spring and summer. Volgograd has better precipitation since it looks like it gets more storms (although 123 rain days is way too much) but it’s not enough to make a difference.

Didn't realise Reno was so cool. Still, it's an easy choice for me due to being much warmer and sunnier. But I do prefer Volgograd's warmer summer nights.

Volgo is better in every single way except perhaps the summer lows.

Reno. Both seem pretty stable with much snow or storms so I’ll pick Reno for the far superior winter temps.
