Situated on the northern-most point of the danish isthmus, Skagen is a city with a very oceanic climate and possible my least favourite european cliamte (excluding mountaintops etc.) due to it's appalling summers, mild winter and drizzly precipitation. The only positive is the decent sunshine for northern european standards (compared to nearby Copenhagen's 1780 hours. E from me

E; for everything that's good with Sweden's east coast, Jutland takes it and turns it on its head. Summer sunshine is okay, but highs beneath 20Β°C is absolutely horrible when winters are like that.

Buxton summers, but a bit more sun. Awful winters at that temperature where they just are raw bone chilling damp cold. The record highs are lame for the averages. So overall I'd award this an E-.

B-. Most of the seasons are quite chilly yet totally liveable. At least eternal comfortable temps condition guaranteed for the whole summer, especially likeable how that place never recorded 30Β°C(idk how many years put on the record though). Could be better the sunshine hours were more distributed in each month.

Awful, summers are terrible in particular, but at least it isnβt a polar ice cap.

Automatic F for never having seen 30'C on record. Those summers are the definition of "pathetic".

Summer sunshine isn't that bad for Northern Europe though.

I don't care. Look at those temperatures! What's warmth?

I don't care. Look at those temperatures! What's warmth? Right. Given the geography it's not surprising at all. I'd be willing to write off all of Europe north of 50'N as having unacceptably cold summers, though.

They had a really boiling hot summer there in 2017. 21.5C as yearly maximum

D+. Summers far too cool, and although winter temps are good, its snowfall is extremely poor for how cold the winters are (only 5.8 snowy days for a total of 16.5 precip days with β1Β° / 3Β° C). Fuck warm fronts.

I'll give this place a C-, never actually heard of it before but I'd love to visit one day looking at the geography of the area.
I'd put this above my own climate because of how much sunnier the summers are, that alone will add a bit onto the feel of the temperature even though our May-Sept highs are very similar. Their winters may drag on a bit too long but they are at least far drier than here and presumably are almost guaranteed a few proper snowfalls, so it's not all bad.

I'm changing my rating to a D+ as well. A record high below 30C is unacceptable. A whole year without going above 21.5 sounds like a tundra climate. Winter is not great either with mean temps around freezing and more rain than snow.
