Irkutsk F.U.C.K.E.N Sable Island is one of the worst climates around. Dull cool summers, very pronounced seasonal lag with boring mild Decembers and cold springs, cold rain throughout the year, lame record highs... No thanks  Aye |

Difference in summer mean temp is small, so going with Sable Island for significantly milder winters. The chilly May and June are irritating, but the late autumn midness is nice compared to Irkutsk's arctic crash, and nor'easters seem fascinating even if its on the wet side. Guessing some island off the south Finnish coast is a good match for Sable Island Ariete ? Probably significantly drier and sunnier though, and less seasonal lag, and more prone to warm days. Weatherspark claims Bornholm is close, so even a bit milder. |

Sable Island, easily. Those winters in Irkutsk are intolerably cold and dry, yuck. I’ll take Sable Island’s wet winters easily over the bitter cold dry suicide weather  |

Both of these are absolutely terrible, but I'll reluctantly choose Sable Island because I prefer climates that don't hurt my face.
