Iβd say a high in the 30s, low in the 10s. Should start off snowy until the early afternoon when the sun should come out and it should warm up. A snowpack is more important than falling snow for Christmas but Iβd want both.

High of 36C with strong abundant sunshine to start the day following a low of 23C. Few clouds building by midday and then really building up by 4pm. Huge thunderstorms from late afternoon to early evening as the sun sets.

Depends on hemisphere or whether I'm here or in the Canary Islands Anyway, here: -1Β°C high, -5Β°C low, 10 cm of snowfall, virtually no wind so it's just calm flakes falling down. Christmas 2012 in Γrebro was awesome in that weather. Southern hemisphere: 26Β°C high, 13Β°C low, low humidity, sunshine. Northern hemisphere: 17Β°C high, 5Β°C low, not much wind, sun.

30Β°-35Β° C straddling ~10% RH (or <10%), alongside a severe thunderstorm afterwards:

Good question actually and one that never crosses my mind.
I would prefer a consistent light snow at -20C/-4F with a light wind just strong enough to blow the snow in the air. Steady temps throughout the day.

In terms of what is possible in my current climate:
A mild winter's day with an unstable SW'ly flow. Temp 13-14Β°C, heavy showers with hail and thunder and sunny intervals in-between.

For the stereotypical wintery scene, temps hovering between -3 to 0Β°C all day long accompanied with flurries of snow and an occasional moderate amount of snow falling in the early evening. In my ideal climate, daily averages of highs around 9Β°C, lows around 3Β°C, having either sunny or overcast condition, light rain possible any time of the day.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day are the only days of the year when I wouldn't mind it snowing. The perfect scenario would be it starts to lightly snow on Christmas Eve, then wake up Christmas Day with a decent covering & sporadic light snow all day. Boxing Day it can feck off.

High 32F low 20F. Deep snow on the ground. Calm winds. Cloudy, but thin clouds (so it's bright) and the sun occasionally breaks through for a little bit.
Basically, Christmas 2009's weather in Kansas City.

Snowy and really cold, temps from -5 C to -30 C would be fine with a deep snow pack. Lightly snowing all day would be fine, wouldn't mind having a nice, low golden sun either as long as it's cold with a snow pack.
