When you average the largest Csa climate and the largest Cwa (metro area) climate, you unsurprisingly get a Cfa climate. Note that sunshine is slightly inflated because Los Angeles measures sunshine using USA methods. How would you rate it? I give it a B-. Los Angeles and Hong Kong both get a C-. I like how this climate gets both adequate rain and sunshine while somewhat easing the summer heat of Hong Kong. However, I prefer cooler winters with occasional frosts every winter.

F The only factor which saves it from F– is its adequate precipitation. No thank you!

Not really my kind of climate but for a winterless climate it is pretty good.

C/C-... acceptable sunshine, but too hot from june-nov.. and winters are comfortable, but would prefer chilly winters with the possibility of snow.. would prefer more winter and less summer rain as well (and a bit less overall)
I think it's a bit better than both? Malibu has decent temps, but is too dry... hopefully no Santa ana winds in angelgong!
@qidb602 Why didn't you pick Shanghai instead?

Looking at the record highs and mean maxima, Angelgong can't get Santa Ana winds. I wanted to pick climates with similar temperatures and Shanghai is colder in winter. And I just thought of the Los Angeles/Hong Kong combo anyways. I had no intention to make a good climate. But yes, a Los Angeles/Shanghai combo would be a nice climate despite being on the dry side, likely an A. Shanghai gets a B- like Angelgong. July and August are too hot and humid but it's better than Seattle outside of summer (and about the same for summer) so it gets a better grade.

B-, reminds me of the NH version of Brisbane. Good temperatures for 8 months of the year (as summers are too long), a bit too wet in summer and little less sunnier than I prefer.

It's not that different. Hong Kong's genes are pretty strong. lmao. Why weren't the sunshine hours included??
A solid C. Summer is too wet and humid.
