^ Looks like a slightly modified Omaha, Nebraska, interesting climate. You should post something now that you're in DC and have a little more room to work with! Or you'd rather try Miami ?

Mean temp, precip, and sun hours (adjusted to global standards) are the same as real Tucson. Some might call me crazy...

AJriannaMelting in that July there. Only way this climate could work is: on another planet, a valley like the ones in Northern Italy where they have a specific number of days a year that they never see the sun, and a crazy powerful sun that just happens to reach over the mountains on June 1 each year and drops back below on August 31. Average relative humidity should be higher in June, because of all the vegetation being boiled. Huge fires in July. Desolate and dead in August. Actually, this could almost work? I bet plants could adapt to that. The above-ground part dies in late spring and they regrow in early autumn?

Not really a difference.

Not really a difference. You can also increase lows in spring and fall. Not sure why you want near-freezing lows in April. And a little difference still matters.

^ LOL. Anyways, here's current DC. Stats from Dulles Airport which is more representative of the outer suburbs: Here's "new and improved" DC, I added 10 F to May-September, took away 10 F to November-March. Snowfall is roughly based on Portland, ME which has similar temps and precipitation in the Nov-Mar period: Looks like Portland, ME in winter and Dallas, TX in summer lol. I'll take the more continental one, I'm always willing to trade a hotter summer for a colder winter. Although it's still too mild for me in winter, May/Sep is too hot, and summer is too dry.

Real Vancouver: Fake Vancouver (barely beats AJ's New Tucson climate in snowfall) :

This one straddles the quad-point of Cfa, Cfb, Dfa, and Dfb. I'll be on the generous side and give this climate a solid B. Highs are rather similar to my dream climate but lows are much colder.

I honestly would take the modified Hobart and Liawenee over the real ones. Proper summers are far more important to me than winters.
