This is a classic A- climate for me. Winters could be a bit colder on average but overall they are quite decent temp wise. Summers are great. I've been to Montana during the summer and while it didn't rain much, it didn't have the same feeling of drought that you get in Portland or Vancouver (in recent years anyway).

D. Far too cold, but high diurnal range is an advantage in these cold climates. Summers look decent.

B-. Too cold and not enough variability but better than here.
Itโs actually one of the places Iโm considering moving too, also a nice town and great location right near Yellowstone.

B+ for Bozeman. Good: Snowy winters, comfortable summers, decent precipitation, no winter temperature lag Bad: Winter is too mild and could use more snow. Spring snow should move to the winter months. Summer has lag and the second half is too dry.
Bozeman has seen snow in July? Wow.

Aโ; epic summers, but winters are far too dry for my liking!
~ Closely straddles the A range*

If I were considering moving to the US, Bozeman would be high on my list. Probably pretty cheap property compared to Canada.

Snow should be sufficient in numbers to stick around for a bit even with single-digit highs so aside from that it's a very decent humid continental climate. Solid C from me!

Too snowy and cool, but at least it isn't that wet.
