Using random.org, I put the top 12 snowiest months in Vancouver in random order like so: 1. 2008 Dec 2. 1996 Dec 3. 1971 Dec 4. 1916 Feb 5. 1954 Jan 6. 1971 Jan 7. 1964 Dec 8. 1917 Feb 9. 1935 Jan 10. 1901 Jan 11. 1913 Jan 12. 1950 Jan For reference, Feb 2019 through the 27th has averaged 3.7C/-3.1C with 31.2cm of snow. Max temp of 8.5 and a min of -8.8C. I'll give it a C- rating. It could definitely be sunnier but I don't mind the average temps. Record highs could be a lot higher too.

E+ What have you done to such a gorgeous climate? You have turned it into some kind of subpolar tundra!

E+ What have you done to such a gorgeous climate? You have turned it into some kind of subpolar tundra!Vancouver's already a subpolar tundraโonly this time, it's with year-round snowfall instead of cold rain.

Snowfall amount is epic, but far too seasonless for me and I don't want snow in the middle of summer lol. Give it an E.

Vancouver has had 12 months with 30"+ of snow??

Speagles84Yes, exactly 12 months with over 30". And at least 20 months with over 23.9" or 60.7cm.

That's called a glacier.
C- because at least it's habitable.

It's a miserable tundra with very little, if anything, to like.

F, that is a terrible climate, I do NOT like.
A+ idea, too bad it looks like this. Maybe in a climate like Denver it would look better? Somewhere that has snowy springs with some warm days. Or do snowiest Norilsk or something and make it a ice cap climate.

F, as nothing can grow with that insane amount of snowfall. The only tiny saving grace is that it will never get extraordinarily cold

F, without the minus, because the cold intense rains are a saving grace.
