Tengchong is an interesting and fairly unique climate with warm, wet, cloudy summers and cool, dry, sunny winters located in the mountains of western Yunnan. The sunshine pattern is very extreme with a huge sunshine difference between summer and winter. Not many climates have such cloudy summers. Tengchong also makes up the southwestern end of the Heihe-Tengchong line, a line dividing the highly populated Eastern China and the sparsely populated Western China. To our cold lovers and continental lovers, would you prefer Heihe over Tengchong climate-wise? I'll give Tengchong a B-. Mild temperatures year-round with plentiful rain and beautiful thunderstorms can't be too bad. However, I would prefer more evenly distributed precipitation, lower diurnal range in winter, and warmer and sunnier summers. What do you think? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tengchong#ClimateAs usual, please rate fairly and do not consider non-climatic factors such as human-caused pollution.

Temp-wise, it'd be an A, but the excessively rainy summers bring it down to a B-
It'd be interesting however, to see how many days actually went above 1 mm of rainfall in summer, 0.1 mm can be a bit misleading as a benchmark. I'd reckon a lot of those millimetres fall simultaneously.

F+. Summer is unlivable but at least winter is pleasant and dry.

B-/C+. Very comfortable but on the bland side. I like the crisp, sunny weather in winter but would also hope for more cool, rainy weather and occasional snow, and for a bit less washed out summers.

B+
Extremely pleasant but loses points due to no snow.

C for being too wet in summer. If May-September was drier I would change to a B.

A D from me. Summers are grotesquely cloudy and cool, but at least winters seem pleasant.

F. If you know me, the one reason it's an automatic F should be obvious.

C grade. Quite average but much better than anywhere in the UK especially with all of the thunder.
