Okay, for US/Canadian/Australian residents keeping it to either your state/province or region would make sense to avoid "yeah, Barrow" or "yeah Furnace Creek" for everyone. In Europe where countries are smaller, Sweden is similar to California in size for example and Norway only slightly smaller than that, countries make more sense to use. New Zealand is also similar in that regard. On the other hand asking tij to only consider Rhode Island is not fair either, so make your own determination on how large a regional context is. To examplify, New England, the PNW, the mid-Atlantic et cetera. It's all subjective
Just make sure to avoid mountain tops and uninhabited areas when making that consideration!
My answer by the way is: YES! Nikkaluokta, Kiruna, Gällivare, Karesuando, Naimakka, et cetera all in the far north. Plenty of E climates moving further along inland towards the south until it stops about where the mid-point is.

Omg Lommaren I literally first wrote Barrow is bad, and then I changed it to everything in RI is good after seeing the first part of your message but not the 2nd! I'll rate the region of New England, which is a B- from me. The southern part that is New Haven/Providence/Boston/Martha's vineyard/Block Island/Capen Cod is nice climate wise other than being a bit too continental, so a B/B+ as a subregion. The northern part has nice summers but winters are too harsh and a bit dull perhaps, yet are interesting, with ample precip and noreasters. It's probably a C/C+ overall. The harshest places like Caribou are really more like C- though. I'm not considering mountaintops like you instructed (Mt Washington isn't the greatest, but more sun than dublin!) RI probably has the least bad climate overall for me (doubt it would be worse than a B-) of any us state! probably better than most European countries for sure in that regard (the Netherlands might be the sole exception, but RI gets much better sun too and significantly nicer autumns, so perhaps I'll take the worst in RI over the worst in the Netherlands). For MN, Embarrass and intl falls are nasty, so probably a D+. Not quite an E or F though.

Since we're avoiding mountain tops and such, then no. The worst would be Wilsons Prom or Portland, both D.

I figured few would have F climates to be honest, so I expanded it to also include E climates for the sake of making the poll results closer and E is also rather bad to say the least. So please vote again tij and jgtheone I know it won't change your votes anyway Any formulation change in the poll question deletes the previous answers.

I almost never give E grades. Generally D- transitions to F.
I'd say no, but Neah Bay is very close to an F.
For Shandong, definitely not.

Yep. Mehamn Berlevåg Kjøllefjord Vardø Båtsfjord Kautokeino Btw Nidaros, hva er ditt drømmeklima? I can't recall seeing you posting any such. Could you give at least a description of what it'd be like? Would be a lot of fun!

Some places in Upstate NY definitely. Bunghole itself is very close (I'd rate it D-), and places like Tug Hill and Saranac Lake are easily E (or worse)

In Arizona, Flagstaff, Greer and Alpine have F climates (I don't give E grades, since the US doesn't use E in their schools)

No, lowest grade is Norfolk/Virginia Beach which are D climates, so somewhat close.

Nope. The worst for me are islands with their oceanic tendencies but they're only a C.

No, New York State does not have any Polar Ice Cap (Köppen EF) climates.
(More seriously, it doesn't have any climates that would receive a grade lower than C from me. Laguardia is the worst which gets a C.)
