Let's rate España!
Para mí, it's a B+. The northern coast is very mediocre, but castilla y león has a very fine climate, if on the dry side, along with la rioja. lowland andalucía is a bit too hot as well, but highland s spain has the potential for nice climates.

North Coast is mostly Es, mostly Ds on the east coast and in the south, lot of Cs and some Bs in the interior.
Average maybe D+ or C- then.

B. Pretty good overall with quite a bit of diversity. Unfortunately the warm/hot-summer climates are too dry.

North coast is terrible. Central is okay. South/southeast is beautiful.

The north coast gets a B-, while the Meseta Central and the southeast coast get a B+ (due to aridity)
Cataluña, Islas Baleares, Extremadura, and Sevilla region (so all the true Mediterranean zones) win an A. En resumen, España saca un B+.

Interior Andalusia/the Guadalquivir valley has some damn fine climates (as good as climates in Europe can get), but the north coast is pretty mediocre climate-wise. Anyway, I think I'll rate it a B.

I don't like the concept of rating entire countries but here you go. Spain has an overall very mediocre collection of climates, the worst part being summer drought in most places. This will be a generous D-.
