How is there still not a thread like this? Feels like the first thread you'd create in the music subforum... I haven't listened to music in years (literally) except hearing songs on the radio, or when my ex plays music. However, I do have my favorite songs anyway. Right now at least, in no particular order, they're: - Kings of Leon - Pyro
- Junip - Line of Fire
- Radiohead - Weird Fishes

There are a few. Summer of 69 is probably my favourite song for musical matters only. Having said that, while this might not be the best song musically, none ever touched me more than this one at a deep personal level. In particular as I listened to it day in and day out during a particular gloomy time for myself, late autumn 2014. It was the last time to this day I really cried. I went through a lot, both in terms of physical and mental challenges those particular months between September and January that timeframe. It's a forgotten B-side version of a rather boring ballad where they went hard in with the electric guitars and turned it into an overlooked masterpiece which is the finest rock ballad in history to my ears.

Favourite bands at the moment are Ten Fe, Only Sun, Sure Sure and Spinn so here's a song from each.

One of my favourite rock songs of recent times from a band that is rapidly becoming one of my favourites.

This song is beautiful in a way that no other is. It really connects me to the Lord, and everything in His great vision. Brings me to tears of joy! Al Hibbler really sings it so wonderfully.

In terms of music in general, it depends what my mood is at the time, but I'm pretty set in the opinion that this is my favourite rock song.
