Gold minining village in Northern Alaska: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiseman,_Alaska Quite good for 67 Β°N, but still only an E for the cold winters. Interesting to have June with the warmest highs but autumn starting in August would be sad...

This is an F+, + due to the faint mildly warm season. Frigid, and the records are too extreme for me to consider an E. Yeah the absence of seasonal lag is intriguing. RΓΈst and bodo seems more survivable to me at this parallel even if they lack heat and sun. Donar can you add a poll?

I'd prefer the slightly milder Fairbanks but this is still an A.

I was there in September 2009. Beautiful area in the fall. Winters can get cold.

B. Overall pretty good. Could be snowier, a little too cold in winter for me but the length is good. Summers could be a bit warmer as well

Interesting that it has 2 consecutive months of highs above 20c. That is uncommon at that latitude. Usually the pattern is more like this: june 16, July 20, August 16. So it's pretty good for 67n.
It's of course awful most of the year like you would expect that far north, but I imagine the scenery is epic.

No explaining away the F for this one...
No need to be a wise man to advise people staying away

F+. Those summers would make nice winters, but those winters... π²

Naturally this would be an F, but the continentality is interesting (considering its location), so a solid E - If that's anything!

i'm not a fan of heat, but something about the stickiness of subtropical climates enchants me...

this town always makes me giggle when i visit it on google maps because I remember watching curious george when I was small and there was a character named professor wiseman and i imagine her whenever i think of the town. anyways, the summers are nice... It's an E!
