en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jos#Geography_and_climateen.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Jos%C3%A9,_Costa_Rica#Climate Rate these 2 milder tropical climates at elevation! I think both would get a C-, but I'm leaning towards San José as it's a bit milder. I still generally prefer subtropical highland climates though, so Jo'burg over both these joe schmoes! Edit: jos looks a bit cooler during the wet season but i'll stick with san josé to avoid harmattan winds

Jos's low humidity in winter is due to Harmattan winds. I don't want dust storms or continental winter-like dew points so I'm going with San José. However, Jos is better from April to October due to the cooler temperatures in the monsoon season.

Jos for sure, although the unlisted Californian climate is far superior.

Jos...
Surprisingly good for where it is. More variable than CR.

Jos for being drier. Both are excellent climates though.

Again for me its the toss of a coin, and oh how I wish we had upland plateau terrain in tropical Northern Territory, just to take the edge off the heat. Both these climes A's. The CR one just, a bit more rainfall and the slight double rain peaks always interest me climatically.

I don't know how frequent the dust storms are in Jos, but it seems more interesting overall, and doesn't have as many months with 20+ rain days, so I'm picking it.

Could go either way depending on Jos's records - Jos has better precip and sunshine but San Jose has better temps.

Depends on my skin condition- whether moist in summer or cracked in winter. Right now, Jos for the extra sunshine and cooler lows
