Hope you'll have a hot day. Umeånvaara has been cucked oddly much by Kronoby for heat this spring.

The station with the short name Oulu Oulunsalo Pellonpää recorded at least 32.2C today. This is the station's June record high and also the earliest 90F temperature recorded in June in Finland. That to be recorded at 65N is quite a feat.
Baba's worst enemy Kronoby joined the 30C club as well with a recording of at least 31.3C.

Was the warmest day of the year so far in Malta too with quite a variation in temperatures from one side of the Island to the other. At one point the difference between Benghajsa in the south & Selmun in the north was 8C. Selmun had a high of 32C, with Luqa Airport only managing 28.4C, my PWS recorded 33.1C. The big difference in temperatures was caused by southerly winds & a below average sea temperature...

Had a bit under 2 inches of rain since Tuesday evening in my gauge from tropical disturbance, which mostly fell on Wednesday. The airport only got 1.08". Disappointingly no thunder with this event. Looks like the more intense storms remained confined to my south. Reports of tornadoes, wind damage, and flooding down there. Radar estimate of over 15 inches southwest of Houston over the past week, most of which fell Wednesday morning!

Big (non-thunder)storm for summer today, with gusts up to 130 km/h on the French Atlantic coast. Gusts are in the 90 km/h ballpark right now in Paris.

Umeå recorded a 25.5'C today. Of course far above average but closer to the average than the record. Pretty high DP of 14.8'C though relative to the season. Brattby 15km west of Umeå recorded 27.7'C and Långviksvallen (on the map it says it's located in Haddingen) recorded 28.8'C. These are stations owned by our traffic agency. They tend to be within a couple meters from roads but otherwise they're pretty legit.
No 30'C today. Warmest was Vidsel Mo at 29.5'C @66°N.

Not too bad today with a high of 78 F/26 C. Another comfortable night with a forecast low of 57 F/14 C. Hovering around 80 F/27 C this weekend and lows in the 50s at night. I'll take it.

Yes it was a warm morning. A lot of stations didn't go below 18C during the night either. For example in Kuopio the low was 18.7C, which is quite remarkable as that's the average high for this time of the year. The Tampere Centre UHI station had a low of 20.5C, which is probably a nationwide record for the earliest "tropical night". Though the station is WMO compatible, I don't really like to use it, as it's bang in the centre and the UHI is just ridiculous.
So that is an extreme temperature for Oulu considering it is still early in June! Would also tie the Scottish all-time high for June.
Indeed it is! The final figure was 32.3C. I looked up the old airport stats which had records from 1959 to 2010, and yesterday's high would've been a new all-time June record as well.
Kronoby bettered their result during the afternoon, and tied with Oulu with the same figure. That's just 0.2C shy of their all-time June record high.
Turku Artukainen had its hottest day of the year, with a 24.2C mean (28.5C/19.9C). So the low was higher than the average high here as well. This week the normal mean temp is 14.8C, so almost 10C above average.
Hot and humid today. At 13:10 it's 28.0C with a dew point of 18.9C. That dew is also abnormal this early in the summer. In the Turku archipelago at Parainen Fagerholm it's 20.3C with a 100% RH, giving a dew point of 20.2C.

77 F (25 C) with a 59 F (15 C) dew point as of noon here with a nice easterly breeze, very pleasant. I like heat during summer but it's rather nice to live in a climate that can get breaks from it from time to time.
Low this morning was 67 F (19 C) and the high today will be 78 F (26 C).

Very pleasant pattern here. Last 3 days have all been sunny with temps of 74/54, 79/51 and 78/52 (so far). NWS says 84 tomorrow, I’ll believe it when I see it. Then next week it’s back to May weather with 60s and rain Thank god this is my last crummer here.

Probably no rain over the next week, but it will be nice to have a stretch with a bit less heat and humidity than is typical of summer. High Tuesday is 85F with low of 62F; Wunderground is showing a dewpoint of 57F that afternoon.
The 3-4 week forecast is showing wetter than normal conditions; hopefully we enter a stormy pattern later this month.
