Thanks Crunch41, so that means we have a new lowest low for August, and it was the coolest morning since June 23rd! It's beautiful out this morning, 58 F (14.4 C) with a 55 F (12.8 C) dew point, today will have a big diurnal range with a high of 88 F (31.1 C) predicted and sunny skies.

The stable mildness continues in Saskatoon with high temperatures perpetually in the upper teens and low 20s Celsius almost every day in the forecast. Still a little below average but not by too much anymore, it would be nice if this continued through September.
We also have had essentially no smoke this summer, which is great. August last year had warmer averages but was also a disgusting smokey mess that ruined any potential outdoor fun, so that's a big upside to this summer's milder and wetter conditions.

Big diurnal range today, morning low of 55 F (12.8 C) warmed up to an 89 F (31.1 C) afternoon. Beautiful day. w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KIAD.htmlDown to 75 F (23.9 C) now with a 62 F (16.7 C) dew point so quite comfortable outside. Tonight is dropping down to 64 F (17.8 C) with clear skies. Looks like it'll be seasonable to start September, get hot early-mid next week and then cool down significantly.

Summer's over. Three stations, Helsingborg, Malmö and Lund had their second warmest summer ever this year. In Helsingborg's case, it was cooler than 1992, and in Lund and Malmö's cases, only 2018 was warmer. Lund was equally as warm in 2006 though, but for Malmö, the two hottest summers ever recorded were 2018 and 2019. Umeå, however, had an average summer even using the 61-90 normal. This is a deviation map from 61-90.

No rain is forecast for a good part of the inland South over the next 7 days. Heaviest rains from Dorian along the S Atlantic coast.
