Well today was a shitty rainy, cool day before we had an awesome storm blow through.
It was in the low 60s most of the day, cleared up briefly around 5 PM and got up to the high of 66 (19 C).
There was some smoke this afternoon, not sure what fires caused it.
We just had the best storm of the year come through. There was a huge downpour with 0.34” in just 19 minutes. Thunder was loud and frequent and there was tons of lightning. Epic storm, just ended a few minutes ago.

Yesterday's string of thunderstorms brought a month's worth of rain in a single day in many places. Impressive.

Hope this 3-4 week forecast doesn't materialize. Also the 6-14 day range forecasts took a turn for the worse today. It's been almost a month since having a thunderstorm. Seems pathetic for this time of the year. At least the next few days have some decent t-storm chances.

Hope it does materialize cause it's been extraordinarily wet here, and we really need a break

April weather continuing into June. The pattern of sunny morning, cloudy afternoon is pretty well-established now. Still little in the way of rain / storms:

June haa felt mediocre so far, maybe because we had a 13.8'C high a couple daya ago. It really is uncomplainable though. Average for the first half of the month has been 18.5/7.2 so a degree or so above average, and while not overly sunny it hasn't been that bad.

Tomorrow's forecast looks beautiful. 30C and chance of funder.
I like the dog, never seen a dog on a news report before. No 30C yet in Milwaukee and it might not happen until July. In a 14-day forecast the highest is 78F/26C. Tomorrow's forecast high is just 56/53F (13/12C) in Milwaukee, much cooler than normal.

Hearing thunder this afternoon for the first time since May 19... Had a brief period of rain. Looking like we may get some nice t-storms the next couple of days. Under a marginal severe risk tomorrow.

Had a cool morning by mid-June standards here with a low of 50 F (10 C), now it's back to more seasonal June weather; current temp is 81 F (27 C) with a 54 F (12 C) dew point. This next week looks great with highs in the 85-89 F (29-32 C) range and a chance of showers and thunderstorms nearly every day.

Yesterday had a low of 61 (16 C), the first 60 f low since October.
This comes a month later than average (May 15th), and was the latest since 1948!
The first half of June averaged 74.1/52.9, which is a -0.7 f anomaly.
Just 1 80+ day and 1 t-storm so far this month though.

June here has been 78.9/58.5 up to date so far, which is 1.6 F (0.9 C) below the average (average is 81.7/58.9), clearly because of cool highs rather than cool lows. It didn't hit 80 F at all from Sunday (June 9th) through Friday (June 14th) which is pretty unusual.
Today is pretty typical June day however, 85 F (29.4 C) with a 68 F (20 C) dew point, low this morning was a mild 66 F (18.9 C). Chance of thunderstorms for the late afternoon hours.

Yesterday the wind shifted around noon and Milwaukee cooled down 20 degrees in 2 hours. Light winds from the southwest turned to east winds and then a strong north wind off Lake Michigan. A comfortable summer day quickly became chilly jacket weather. Wind is from the northeast again today so it's still chilly, with a max of 57F/14C as of 2pm.
Made a gif showing the change in wind. Milwaukee officially recorded 77F even though this only shows high 60s. My mouse was probably closer to the shore than the official weather station at the airport.

We've had three thunderstorms in the past three days, so that's been nice. And a cool, dry July would probably be good for us, considering how wet it's been lately.

Haven't gotten jack shit in terms of storms today, maybe could change by the evening or night time hours. 90% of the time we get severe storms predicted we get zilch.
