This is another interesting Oregon climate. Nights are cold year round, enabling snow in the winter (one of the inspirations for my dream climate's). I think the highs are mostly good (a touch warm july-aug for me though, but it's fine with the nights) but the nights are too cold outside of the winter. I'd give it a B- overall (EDIT: also for the lack of summer rain/t-storms issue that Arcleo mentioned) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prospect,_Oregon#Climate

C. Nights are far too cold year-round. Highs are mostly good but they're still too cold in winter. Winter also has too much snow while summer is too dry and has almost no thunderstorms.

B-. Winters are epic, but the nights remain too cold from March-November. Spring warm-up takes a while as well.
Rainfall and snowfall are good, record temps also good.

E freezing ass crummer and year round lows, disgusting high diurnals. Lack of T-storms just seals the deal.

It'd be a pretty decent climate if summers were as wet as winter.
As it is, it's a C+...better than Portland!

Appears like a fun prospect, although not quite ideal, but B- anyway.

C. Diurnal ranges in summer look difficult to adjust in certain temperatures ranges.

A C- from me. I'd hate the cold nights even in mid-summer, and also the lack of t-storms.

D. Sick of all these out-west climates with insane summer diurnal ranges. At least winters are better than here, but the May snowfall is an obvious blight.

Potential contender for northernmost A climate on the West Coast? Somewhere in Jackson County has to be A if not here.
Only problem is that spring is just a little cooler than preferred.

Most years wouldn't even see snow in May. It should never snow in May. May is not only spring, but closer to summer than winter.

C- Like the precip pattern and summers are decent. Just too warm in winter to keep nice snowpack.

B
Maxima are excellent for much of the year, with a superb precip pattern. However, an apparent lack of thunderstorm activity, and especially the idiotically cool summer minima, hinder it from acquiring a much better rating. The snowfall:rainfall ratio is also miserably poor, and summer is FAR too short (only a two-month summer FFS!).
