Would a sunny day make a more noticeable difference indoors now than a couple of months ago?
I'd have the heating on at this time of year anyway but two of my rooms are south-facing so having the sun shining certainly helps out.

Depends on lots of things because I live in a draughty attick apartment. So if it's windy the sun makes no difference at this time of year. If it's very calm then it might make the temperature rise 3-4 degrees but only to around 15-16, still too cold to be comfortable. The electric heater is a necessity pretty much every day-time until April perhaps. Even after that it is required in the evenings. |

with the heat off and the sun getting stronger, side of the apartment facing south felt warmer earlier today; now mixed and not as much of a difference. 69°F inside, too warm with a long-sleeve shirt.

14.8°C in the computer room - feels warm though as I'm sitting in the sun.
Got down to 7°C in the bathroom last night. Could be down to 2-3 in there next week.

Curious to see how my temps are doing. And the real cold isn't even here yet.
Computer room: 17.1°C
Lounge: 8.3°C
Still "warm" in the lounge. When it gets down to 2 degrees I'll know it's cold.

Mild + sun keeps my apartment warm; was 63°F inside as of 10:30 am; turned the heat off [well thermostat down to 54°F). Down to 62°F right now. Mild weather saves $. 39°F outside now, forecast low 34°F, curious how far it'll drop overnight.
