Just got myself an indoor air quality monitor which measures temperature and humidity as well things like radon, CO2, volatile organic compounds, etc. Very cool little gadget! Never bothered with any sort of thermometer or other air measurements at home before so it'll be interesting to see what this is like.
At the moment, the temperature in my living room is 24.8C with 17% humidity. My thermostat is set to 24.0C.

Stupidly dry in here this morning (no doubt partly due to how cold it is outside) - 22.3C and 14% humidity.

It was down to 12°C inside today but I have three large radiators and a 2000KW electric heater all on full power to rectify this problem immediately.

13% damn.
For me, 64F/18C, 35% RH, dew point 36F/2C. Drier than it has been this winter, but much more humid than outside's dew of -8F/-22C. Not dry enough to have static shocks and things. At work I get a shock every time I touch the door in winter so it must be drier there.

New record lowest of the time I've been here with 12.4°C in my lounge , and the electric heater I believe is 2,000 watts not 2,000 kilowatt, like I said yesterday. I'd have a £1000 electric bill if that was the case. It'll be bad enough as it is already.

I'm going to test how much taking a shower raises the RH and temp With the bathroom door opening, DP usually rises to around 16~17°C in the bedroom located next door after taking 15 minutes shower.

My shower this morning (with the bathroom door partially open) raised the humidity in my living room from 13% to 16%.

22.3C and 11% humidity this morning. 24 degrees Celsius in a Saskatchewan winter? Seems like a waste of energy to me. It's worth it for me, I strongly prefer a warm indoor environment and 24C is nearly perfect to me (though I do turn it down a few degrees when I'm at work or sleeping). Being perpetually chilly at home makes our already long and harsh winters even worse for me, whereas being nice and comfortable at least makes them easier to deal with when I'm home.
