I originally said second half of August, but if this pattern we've been in the last few weeks continues on for much longer we might just end up having had our last 90F in the first week of June already

Still hasn't happened though the warmest time of year is just starting. Here's to hoping it won't.

The answer is June 12 for WFO Seattle and July 21 for SeaTac (due to some recent issues with SeaTac's weather station that cause temps to be abnormally warm).
I count June 12, so it seems like I was pretty far off.
If we get 90F, I'd be wrong again, but at least it'll be a nice surprise.

I wonder if we're done with 90 F days for the year, nothing even close to 90 F in the 7-day forecast, and the 15-day forecast for TWC (I know 15-day forecasts are a crapshoot, but interesting nonetheless) extends into mid-September with no 90 F in the forecast. There is an 89 F forecast for next Wednesday though.
If we are done with 90 F highs, it'd be quite early in the season. A heat wave in mid-late September could easily send us to 90 F though.

No 90s this summer for me. Not that surprising, half of the years here we don't hit 90F. 89F was hit twice though

Seems I was overly optimistic, nothing even close to 90 in the forecast, let alone 80. We did get 4 90s out of nowhere the last week of September in 2017 so it could still happen but I’m not holding out hope.
Most likely August 6th will be the last, about a month earlier than normal.

Average last 90°F for Phoenix is Nov 2nd, so it'll be a while....

The last one was yesterday and we have one more forecasted for Saturday, which might be the last given the fairly cool temps forecasted afterwards. Our first was June 2. That way it would almost perfectly coincide with the first and last days of summer.

28 July it was. Earliest was 27 July. Turku is a subtropical paradise then! Literally has infinitely more 90 degree days than here!

Looks like our last one was in the first half of August. We could still have another one in September but the chances of that are fairly slim. If I had to bet I'd say we're done with 90F for the year.

Lol I spoke way too soon here, we've had four 90+ days since I made this post, and even a 95 F (35 C) day last Thursday. Our 90+ tally is up to 53 now, quite a banner year for hot weather! Highest tally in since 2010, which had 56.

We had 97F on the 26th July, which was our hottest day on record. If the storms had held off for another couple of hours, I think we'd have seen 100F.

October wouldn’t be too surprising at this point, with such a warm and dry pattern.

Our 90+ tally is up to 53 now, quite a banner year for hot weather! Highest tally in since 2010, which had 56. That is quite impressive. If we hit 90 today (highest obs has been 89), it would tie 2016 and 2010 at 44. Edit: It did.

So close yet so far today, got to 88. So August 5th will be our last 90 That is: -3.5 weeks earlier than normal -The earliest since 2006 -The first September since 2012 not to hit 90

Looks like we got to 60 90 degree days this year for the first time in history Breakdown of 90+ temps: May: 5 June: 9 July: 22 August: 15 September: 8 October: 1 Total: 60 We had 12 straight days of 90+ weather in July (July 11-22), and 13 days of 95+ weather (2 in June, 8 in July, 1 in August, 1 in September and 1 in October). Goes to show how stable summers are here, only 22% of 90+ days reached 95+. Comparatively, 2010 had 19 days of 95+ weather (35% of 90 degree days).
